The Five Rivers Leisure Centre is a highly-acclaimed sports centre in Salisbury, with a range of sports facilities, such as a 25 metre / 80 feet swimming pool, water slides, a health and fitness club, regular fitness classes, a sauna, a steam room, a large sports hall with different courts, a crèche, and a number of activities for children. There is also a café area and car parking at Salisbury's Five Rivers Leisure Centre.

The historic Salisbury Racecourse remains one of England's oldest racecourses, dating back to the 16th century. This scenic and picturesque horse racing course is particularly popular during the summer months, and facilities at the Salisbury Racecourse include spectator areas, a café, car parking and a free crèche.

The Salisbury Old Sarum Flying Club offers flights over the Salisbury countryside, in a small light aircraft with either two or four seats. Champagne Balloon Flights are available from Salisbury Five Rivers Leisure Centre throughout the summer, on fine days. The large red, white and blue hot-air balloons mainly take off early in the morning and again in the evening, and provide one of the most spectacular ways to view the streets of Salisbury and the fine cathedral. Of particular interest is Stonehenge, which can only really be fully appreciated from the air. Balloon flights need to be booked in advance and most pilots provide champagne and souvenir photographs.
